Nanny

Nanny
In most households today, both parents work outside of the home. These jobs often require the parents to work long hours, which means that parents must arrange for some type of child care for their little ones. In some cases, the hours that the parents work do not allow them to utilize day care services. Therefore, these parents must find alternative means of child care. Nannies are an option that may be available to some families. Because nannies can be expensive, not every family can afford their services. Hiring a nanny to take care of the children while the parents work has advantages and disadvantages for both the parents and the children.

Nannies help parents ensure that their child always has adult supervision. This is one of the biggest advantages of hiring a nanny. Parents can rest assured that no matter what their job may require of them, the care and supervision of their children will be covered. Parents can relax knowing that their children will receive the love, attention, and care they need. A nanny can often help fill the void for the parents.

While there are advantages to using nanny services, there are also many disadvantages. Parents will want to seriously consider both the pros and cons of using a nanny to care for their children. One of the biggest disadvantages of using a nanny is that parents are essentially hiring someone to raise their children for them. A nanny is there to love the child, care for them, and make sure the child’s needs are met. These are the very things the parent should be providing for the child, not a nanny. The children may come to trust the nanny and see them as the authority figure in their lives. This creates confusion for the child and often strains the relationship between the child and parent.

Parents may begin to find that their children do not respect their authority. They may not listen to the parent’s instructions, and they may act with extreme defiance towards their parents. These behaviours manifest because there is a lack of trust between the child and the parent. The nanny, not the parent, has been established as the child’s primary caregiver and disciplinarian. For this reason, the child will often exhibit behaviour problems toward the parent such as disrespect and rebellion. The nanny may not have to deal with these behaviours because the child understands their relationship with the nanny. However, they are often confused about their relationship with their parents.
Surveillance or Spy Cameras have many purposes:
- to prevent theft,
- to watch employees,
- to catch cheating spouses,
- for covert operations,
- or simply to monitor a nanny or caregiver when you’re not at home.
In addition, if you have infants or young children at home, a camera that you can view on your cell phone will help you keep a vigilant eye on them while you’re away, any time, both night and day.
